        મારા માટે અંગ્રેજી હંમેશા એક પડકાર રહ્યો હતો. ગુજરાતી માધ્યમમાં ભણીને જ્યારે મેં એન્જિનિયરિંગ શરૂ કર્યું, ત્યારે માર્કસ મેળવવાનું મારું મુખ્ય ધ્યાન હતું. પણ સાચો પડકાર મારી સામે ત્યારે આવ્યો, જ્યારે હું મુંબઈ ગયો અને સેલ્સમાં કામ કરવાનું શરૂ કર્યું. મારું નબળું અંગ્રેજી જોઈને મારા બોસે કહ્યું, " જો તને ઇંગ્લીશમાં  બોલતાં નહિ ફાવે તો તને  મહિનામાં નોકરીમાંથી કાઢી નાખવામાં આવશે." તે ક્ષણે મને ખ્યાલ આવ્યો કે માત્ર સારા માર્ક્સ નહીં, પણ આત્મવિશ્વાસ સાથે વાત કરવી કેટલી જરૂરી છે. મેં તાત્કાલિક પબ્લિક સ્પીકિંગના ક્લાસ જોઈન કર્યા. આત્મવિશ્વાસ સાથે લોકોની સામે અંગ્રેજી બોલતા શીખ્યા પછી મને એક નવો રસ્તો મળ્યો. મેં વિચાર્યું, જો હું આ કરી શકું છું, તો બીજાને પણ મદદ કરી શકું છું. આથી જ મેં મુંબઈમાં  પર્સનાલિટી ડેવલપમેન્ટ એકેડેમી ની શરૂઆત કરી. છેલ્લા ૩૦  વર્ષથી, મેં હજારો યુવાનોને પબ્લિક સ્પીકિંગની મદદથી અંગ્રેજી શીખવ્યું છે.
